Safety first

Something urgent? Get safe first.

Taskix is not an emergency service. If people are in danger, call the official emergency number first; we can plan the job afterwards.

Is anyone hurt, is there fire or smoke, or can you smell gas?

If you can do so safely, move away from the building or vehicle and call 112. If you smell gas, do not touch light switches or use a flame.

112 is the free emergency number across the EU, including Spain.

Find your situation

Safe first steps until a pro takes over

These are not repair instructions — only ways to keep the risk from growing. If you are unsure, do not touch it.

Water actively leaking

If you can reach it safely, close the main water valve. If water is reaching sockets or appliances, stay out of that area.

Sparks, a burning smell or exposed wires

Do not touch it. If you can reach it safely from a dry spot, switch off the main breaker. If there is smoke, call 112.

Vehicle stuck on the road

Turn on your hazard lights, put on your vest and wait behind the barrier, away from traffic. If you are on a motorway or anyone is hurt, call 112.

No heating or cooling

If an older person, a baby or someone unwell is at home and feels bad, call 112 or their doctor. Do not open up the unit.

Locked out

If a child, someone unwell or a lit stove is inside, call 112. Do not try to force the door or a window.

Once everyone is safe: describe the job

A photo, a voice note or a few sentences is enough. We ask verified pros who are on duty in your area, one at a time. If none is available, we say so plainly; we do not show an arrival time we cannot back up.

Describe the job

Taskix suggests pros and asks for offers; it does not diagnose and does not promise an arrival time or an outcome.
