Taskix Legal Notice

1. Operator identity

1.1 Operator. This website and the services described in it are operated by SMARTEDTECH SL, a company incorporated in Spain with tax identification number B66970831, registered office at Carrer Agricultura, 16, 1º, 9ª, 08320 El Masnou, Barcelona, Spain, and contact address at Carrer Agricultura, 16, 1º, 9ª, 08320 El Masnou, Barcelona, Spain (the Operator). Electronic contact: legal@taskix.net. Telephone: +34 687 66 64 99.

1.2 Registry data. Registro Mercantil de Barcelona, Hoja B-501172.

1.3 Role. Unless a page or contract states otherwise, the Operator provides an information-society service as an intermediary platform. Where a third party (a tradesperson, professional or business) supplies services to you, that third party is identified before you commit to any order, and that third party is the contracting party for that supply.

1.4 Precedence. Where a signed agreement exists between you and the Operator, the signed agreement prevails over this notice to the extent of any conflict.

1.5 Brand. "Taskix" is a brand of SMARTEDTECH SL used on taskix.net for a marketplace that connects customers who describe a job with independent trade and local-service professionals who quote for and perform that job. Taskix is one of the platforms operated by SMARTEDTECH SL under the Oferon family; each platform has its own terms and data settings.

2. Platform role

2.1 The Operator operates a platform that enables users to discover, contact, book, order from or contract with third-party providers. The Operator is not a party to any contract between a user and a provider unless expressly stated on the order summary.

2.2 The Operator does not hold, custody or escrow funds for a provider's receivable unless a signed collection mandate exists and the order summary identifies the Operator as payment collector.

2.3 Providers are independent businesses or professionals. They are not employees, agents or partners of the Operator, and the Operator does not supervise their work, licensing or compliance except as expressly described in the provider verification section of the Provider Terms (PRO-01, clause 3).

2.4 Nothing in this clause limits the Operator's own obligations in relation to its platform service, its own subscriptions or its own data processing.

3. Information shown before you commit

3.1 Before a customer accepts a quote, the quote screen shows: the professional's trading name and legal identity, whether the professional acts as a trader or a private individual, the scope of work, the total price including VAT for consumers, any call-out or diagnostic fee, any emergency surcharge, timing, deposit and cancellation terms, and the complaint route.

3.2 A job description, a search result, an enquiry, a message, an estimate marked as non-binding or a provisional availability is not a works order. A works order is formed only as stated in the Order Terms (PRO-04) and the Works Order Terms (WORK-01).

4. Website content and intellectual property

4.1 The Operator and its licensors own the platform software, designs, trade marks, data compilations and original site content. Visitors may read public pages, link to them and use lawful quotation rights.

4.2 No licence is granted to copy the platform software, to scrape listings or profiles, to impersonate the Taskix brand or to extract non-public records. Third-party marks and content belong to their owners.

5. Contact and complaints

5.1 Legal correspondence: legal@taskix.net. Privacy requests: privacy@taskix.net or the rights form at /legal/privacy-rights. Support and complaints: support@taskix.net or /legal/complaints. Postal address: Carrer Agricultura, 16, 1º, 9ª, 08320 El Masnou, Barcelona, Spain.

5.2 Do not send passwords, full card numbers, identity documents or health information through the public contact forms.

5.3 Complaints about workmanship are routed to the professional who performed the job (C30.3) with the Operator's complaints route available in parallel; the Operator responds to complaints about the platform itself under the Website Terms (PUB-04, clause 7).

5.4 Supervisory complaints about personal data may be made to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) or to the supervisory authority of your residence.

6. Governing law

This notice is governed by Spanish law. You also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of the country where you reside. Disputes are heard by the courts of your domicile; the Operator may bring proceedings in your domicile. Signed business agreements carry their own law and forum clause.

Platform-specific terms

Trades and works orders

1. A quote accepted by the customer through the platform forms a works contract between the customer and the professional; the quote states scope, price, timing, deposit and cancellation terms.

2. Deposits, where used, are paid to the professional (or to the Operator only under a signed collection mandate) and are governed by the quote.

3. Workmanship disputes are first referred to the platform's complaints route (C15) and, if unresolved, to the competent consumer or court route; the professional's insurance details are available on request.

---

Provider warranties, verification and indemnity

1. The provider represents and warrants on each day of the agreement that: it is validly established; it holds every licence, registration, insurance and qualification required by law to supply its services in each territory in which it offers them through the platform; the information in its listing is accurate, lawful and not misleading; it has the right to use every image, name, mark and content it uploads; and it complies with consumer, tax, health and safety, data protection and sector rules applicable to its supply.

2. The provider will upload evidence of licence and insurance on onboarding and on each expiry, and authorises the Operator to verify it with the issuing body. The platform automatically suspends publishing when an uploaded licence expires until a renewal is uploaded.

3. The provider indemnifies the Operator against all claims, fines, losses and reasonable costs arising from the provider's supply to customers, its breach of this clause, its content, or its tax obligations.

4. The Operator may remove a listing, suspend an account or withhold payout where it reasonably believes a representation is untrue, a legal requirement is unmet, a customer complaint indicates a safety risk, or a notice of illegal content is received. The provider may appeal under C11.
