Taskix Cookies and Similar Technologies
1. Scope
1.1 This notice covers cookies, local storage, session storage, SDK identifiers, pixels and equivalent storage or access on taskix.net and the /app and /provider areas.
1.2 The Operator identified in the Legal Notice (PUB-01) is responsible for the technology listed here. Third-party technology is listed with its provider.
2. Essential technology (no consent required)
2.1 The platform uses strictly necessary technology only for functions you request: session and authentication integrity, protection of forms against abuse, your cookie-choice preference, load balancing and security. These items are set without consent under Article 22.2 LSSI and are deleted when the session ends or within the period stated in the inventory.
2.2 Essential technology is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking or profiling.
3. Optional technology (consent required)
3.1 Optional analytics measures how the site is used. It loads only after you choose Accept optional in the banner or enable the category in Manage choices. It is off by default; scrolling, continued browsing, closing the banner or creating an account does not enable it.
3.2 Taskix does not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies. If a new optional category is introduced, it is added to the inventory, presented in the banner as a separate choice and starts off.
3.3 Rejecting optional technology does not restrict access to any public page or account function.
4. Your choices
4.1 The banner shows Reject optional, Accept optional and Manage choices with equal prominence before any optional technology loads.
4.2 You may change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawal stops further optional storage and access from the next page load, removes optional items where technically possible and records the change as legal.consent.withdrawn. It does not retroactively invalidate processing that took place while your consent was in force.
4.3 Your choice is stored in the consent-preference cookie for this domain only. It is not shared with any other platform operated by the Operator.
4.4 The consent record keeps the domain, category decision, policy version and timestamp. It does not record page titles, message content or your full IP address.
5. Inventory
5.1 The table below lists each category used on taskix.net. The exact name, provider, first- or third-party status and expiry of each item in a category are shown in the Manage choices panel and are measured in a fresh browser before each release (test LGL-T01); an item that is not in the measured inventory is not loaded.
| Category | Purpose | Legal basis | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session and authentication | Keep you signed in; protect your account | Art. 22.2 LSSI exemption (necessary for a service you requested) | On |
| Consent preference | Remember your cookie choice | Art. 22.2 LSSI exemption | On |
| Security and anti-abuse | Protect forms and sign-in against automated abuse | Art. 22.2 LSSI exemption | On |
| Analytics (optional) | Aggregate usage statistics for improving the site | Consent (analytics_optional) | Off |
6. Contact
Questions about this notice: privacy@taskix.net. Operator identity and postal address: Legal Notice (PUB-01).
7. Changes
7.1 The Operator may amend this notice for legitimate reasons: changes in law, in the service, in security or fraud prevention, in the payment provider, or to clarify wording. The Operator notifies you of material changes by email and in-product at least 30 days before they take effect (immediately where required by law or security).
7.2 A new optional category is never enabled under a consent you gave before it existed; the banner asks you again.
7.3 Every version is archived with its date and content hash at /legal/cookies/v/.
Platform-specific terms
Platform role: intermediary, not seller
1. The Operator operates a platform that enables users to discover, contact, book, order from or contract with third-party providers. The Operator is not a party to any contract between a user and a provider unless expressly stated on the order summary.
2. The Operator does not hold, custody or escrow funds for a provider's receivable unless a signed collection mandate exists and the order summary identifies the Operator as payment collector.
3. Providers are independent businesses or professionals. They are not employees, agents or partners of the Operator, and the Operator does not supervise their work, licensing or compliance except as expressly described in the provider verification section.
4. Nothing in this clause limits the Operator's own obligations in relation to its platform service, its own subscriptions or its own data processing.
---
Trades and works orders
1. A quote accepted by the customer through the platform forms a works contract between the customer and the professional; the quote states scope, price, timing, deposit and cancellation terms.
2. Deposits, where used, are paid to the professional (or to the Operator only under a signed collection mandate) and are governed by the quote.
3. Workmanship disputes are first referred to the platform's complaints route (C15) and, if unresolved, to the competent consumer or court route; the professional's insurance details are available on request.
---
Provider warranties, verification and indemnity
1. The provider represents and warrants on each day of the agreement that: it is validly established; it holds every licence, registration, insurance and qualification required by law to supply its services in each territory in which it offers them through the platform; the information in its listing is accurate, lawful and not misleading; it has the right to use every image, name, mark and content it uploads; and it complies with consumer, tax, health and safety, data protection and sector rules applicable to its supply.
2. The provider will upload evidence of licence and insurance on onboarding and on each expiry, and authorises the Operator to verify it with the issuing body. The platform automatically suspends publishing when an uploaded licence expires until a renewal is uploaded.
3. The provider indemnifies the Operator against all claims, fines, losses and reasonable costs arising from the provider's supply to customers, its breach of this clause, its content, or its tax obligations.
4. The Operator may remove a listing, suspend an account or withhold payout where it reasonably believes a representation is untrue, a legal requirement is unmet, a customer complaint indicates a safety risk, or a notice of illegal content is received. The provider may appeal under C11.
