Taskix Provider Online Registration Terms
1. Who these terms are for
1.1 These terms govern registration on Taskix by a trade or local-service professional (the Provider): a company, a registered self-employed person (autónomo) or another lawfully established business that offers repair, installation, maintenance, cleaning, moving or similar local services. A private individual who is not a business may not register as a Provider.
1.2 The person accepting these terms represents that they own or are authorised to bind the Provider. The platform verifies that authority before publishing a listing (C03.3).
1.3 These terms cover platform use. Commission, payout, collection mandate, territory, exclusivity and negotiated service levels are agreed only in the signed Provider Commercial Agreement (PRO-02) and its ENT-02 schedule. Until PRO-02 is signed, the Provider may complete onboarding and verification but cannot publish listings or receive job leads.
2. Contract formation and acceptance evidence
2.1 A contract for the platform service is formed when the Operator records your acceptance of the applicable terms through the acceptance control shown to you (an unticked checkbox, an order button labelled with an obligation to pay, or an electronic signature) and, for paid services, when the payment provider confirms payment.
2.2 The Operator keeps an append-only record of the document identifier, version, content hash, date, time and acceptance method. You may request a copy of the record and of the accepted version at any time at legal@taskix.net. Each version is archived at /legal/provider-terms/v/«version».
2.3 Acceptance by a person acting for an organisation is a representation that the person is authorised to bind that organisation. Where the Operator requires verification of that authority, the service for the organisation is not activated until verification is complete.
2.4 The Operator may rely on an electronic signature produced through its signature provider as the signature of the signatory under Regulation (EU) No 910/2014.
3. Provider warranties, verification and indemnity
3.1 The provider represents and warrants on each day of the agreement that: it is validly established; it holds every licence, registration, insurance and qualification required by law to supply its services in each territory in which it offers them through the platform; the information in its listing is accurate, lawful and not misleading; it has the right to use every image, name, mark and content it uploads; and it complies with consumer, tax, health and safety, data protection and sector rules applicable to its supply.
3.2 The provider will upload evidence of licence and insurance on onboarding and on each expiry, and authorises the Operator to verify it with the issuing body. The platform automatically suspends publishing when an uploaded licence expires until a renewal is uploaded.
3.3 The provider indemnifies the Operator against all claims, fines, losses and reasonable costs arising from the provider's supply to customers, its breach of this clause, its content, or its tax obligations.
3.4 The Operator may remove a listing, suspend an account or withhold payout where it reasonably believes a representation is untrue, a legal requirement is unmet, a customer complaint indicates a safety risk, or a notice of illegal content is received. The provider may appeal under C11.
3.5 Taskix verification scope. At onboarding the Provider uploads: legal identity and tax identification; for each trade it lists, the licence, registration or qualification required by Spanish or regional law for that trade (for example an authorised-installer registration for gas, electrical or heating work); and a civil-liability insurance certificate with its expiry date. The Operator records each document's expiry date. Listings in a regulated trade are published only while the matching licence record is current; the platform sends renewal reminders 30, 7 and 0 days before expiry and suspends publishing of the affected trade at expiry (test LGL-T10). Verification is a check of documents and, where the issuing body offers it, of the register; it is not a certification of the quality of the Provider's work.
3.6 The Provider declares on each listing whether it is a trader (business) or a registered self-employed person; both are traders for consumer-law purposes and the listing says so (C12.2).
4. Independent status
4.1 The Provider is an independent business. It sets its own prices in each quote, decides which jobs to quote for and which to decline, sets its own working hours and availability, may use its own staff and subcontractors subject to clause 3, and is free to offer its services through other channels. The Operator does not assign jobs, does not fix prices, does not impose working hours and does not sanction a Provider for declining a job.
4.2 The Provider is responsible for its own tax, social-security, employment and subcontracting obligations and for those of any person it uses to perform a job.
4.3 Nothing in these terms creates employment, agency, partnership or an authority to bind the Operator.
5. Listings, quotes and works orders
5.1 The Provider's listing states its trading name, legal identity, trades offered, service area, licence status badge (derived from clause 3.5) and the Provider's contact route for complaints.
5.2 A quote issued through the platform states scope, price (total including VAT for consumers), call-out or diagnostic fee, any emergency surcharge, timing, deposit and cancellation terms, and is binding on the Provider for the validity period shown on it. A quote accepted by the customer forms a works contract between the customer and the Provider (C30.1, PRO-04, WORK-01).
5.3 Deposits, where used, are paid to the Provider (or to the Operator only under a signed collection mandate in PRO-02) and are governed by the quote (C30.2).
5.4 The Provider performs the work with the professional care required by law, stops and obtains the customer's recorded approval before material extra cost or scope (WORK-01), uploads completion evidence before closing a job, and honours the customer's withdrawal, cancellation and conformity rights (CUS-02).
5.5 The Provider does not take a customer matched through the platform off-platform for the same job to avoid a fee stated in PRO-02.
6. Ranking, reviews and transparency
6.1 Listings are ordered by the main parameters stated on the listings page (for example relevance to the search, distance, availability, response time, verification status and user ratings). Paid placement, where offered, is labelled "Sponsored" and does not alter the stated organic parameters.
6.2 Each listing states whether the provider is a trader (business) or a private individual, so that you know whether consumer protection rules apply to the supply.
6.3 For providers, the ranking parameters, the effect of paid placement and the differentiated treatment of the Operator's own services (if any) are set out in the provider terms in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1150.
6.4 Reviews are published only after a verified outcome (completed order or booking) and are not edited for content; the Operator may remove reviews that breach C10.
6.5 The Marketplace Transparency Notice (MKT-01) states the current ranking parameters and their relative importance. The Operator offers no services of its own that compete with Providers' listings.
7. Restriction, suspension and appeal
7.1 The Operator restricts or suspends a Provider only on the grounds in clause 3.4, for breach of clauses 4–5, for non-payment of fees due under PRO-02, or on a legal requirement. Except where urgent (safety risk, suspected fraud, legal order), the Operator gives the Provider a statement of reasons before the restriction takes effect and, for termination of the whole account, 30 days' notice.
7.2 Anyone may report content they consider illegal through /legal/report, stating the reason, the location of the content and their contact details. The Operator acknowledges receipt, assesses the report without undue delay and informs the reporter of the decision.
7.3 Where the Operator removes or restricts content, suspends an account or limits visibility, it gives the affected user a statement of reasons and access to an internal complaint route for 6 months from the decision. Complaints are decided by a person, not solely by automated means, within 15 business days.
7.4 The Operator may suspend users who frequently provide manifestly illegal content or manifestly unfounded reports, after warning.
7.5 Consumers may also use the out-of-court dispute route in C15.
7.6 Business users may also refer an unresolved complaint to mediation under Article 12 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1150; the Operator names the mediators it is willing to engage on the complaints page.
7.7 After suspension or termination the Provider keeps access to its past orders, invoices and completion evidence for 90 days for export; open works orders are completed or cancelled under CUS-02 and the customer is informed.
8. Content and intellectual property
8.1 You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant the Operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute and create derivative works of your content for the purpose of operating, promoting (listing content only) and improving the service, for the term of your account plus the period required for backup and legal retention.
8.2 You warrant that your content does not infringe third-party rights and is not unlawful.
8.3 The Operator may remove or restrict content that it reasonably believes is unlawful, infringes these terms or creates a risk to users, and will inform you of the reason and the review route.
8.4 All platform software, designs, models, trade marks and data compilations are owned by the Operator or its licensors. No licence is granted except as stated.
9. Data roles
9.1 Platform data. The Operator is the controller of personal data processed to operate the platform: account, identity verification, acceptance records, payments, security, support, communications and analytics.
9.2 Provider supply data. Where a provider supplies services to a customer through the platform, the provider is an independent controller of the data it needs for that supply (booking, order, clinical, educational or professional records), and the Operator is a controller of the platform-level record of the transaction. Each party complies with its own obligations; neither acts for the other.
9.3 Processor services. Where the Operator processes personal data on behalf of a business customer under the customer's instructions (for example an enterprise tenant's employee data), the Data Processing Agreement (DAT-01) applies and governs; it is signed as part of the order.
9.4 Sharing between SET platforms. Personal data is not shared with any other platform operated by the Operator or its group unless you enable the specific destination in your settings. Enabling one destination does not enable others, and you may disable it at any time.
9.5 International transfers. Personal data is stored in the European Economic Area. Where a processor outside that area is used, the transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses, listed in the subprocessor annex.
9.6 The Provider uses a customer's job address, contact details and photos only to quote for and perform that job, keeps them under its own retention rules and does not add them to marketing lists.
10. Fees
10.1 Prices are those shown on the price page or order summary at the time of order. Prices for consumers are shown including applicable VAT; prices for business customers are shown excluding VAT unless stated. The Operator may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice; a price change does not affect a period already paid.
10.2 Payments are processed by the payment service provider identified at checkout. The Operator does not store full card numbers. Bank transfer is available only where the order summary states so and only to the account stated on the invoice issued by the payee.
10.3 Where a provider is the seller, the provider's price, taxes, fees and refund rule apply to that supply; the Operator's platform fee, if any, is shown separately.
10.4 Invoices are issued electronically to the billing email on the account. Business customers agree to receive electronic invoices.
10.5 Overdue business invoices accrue interest at the statutory commercial late-payment rate and reasonable recovery costs; the Operator may suspend the service for a business customer on 7 days' written notice of non-payment.
10.6 No commission, subscription or lead fee is owed under these terms alone; fees are those in the Provider's signed PRO-02 schedule or on the provider price page for a self-service plan.
11. Changes
11.1 The Operator may amend these terms for legitimate reasons: changes in law, in the service, in security or fraud prevention, in the payment provider, or to clarify wording. The Operator notifies you of material changes by email and in-product at least 30 days before they take effect (immediately where required by law or security).
11.2 If you do not accept a material change, you may terminate before it takes effect and receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid period affected. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance; for major changes the service asks you to confirm acceptance at your next sign-in.
11.3 Every version is archived with its date and content hash at /legal/provider-terms/v/.
11.4 Changes to ranking parameters or to these terms that affect Providers are notified at least 15 days before they take effect, as required by Regulation (EU) 2019/1150, unless a shorter period is required by law or security.
12. Liability
12.1 Except for the excluded liabilities in paragraph 12.3, each party's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the agreement in any contract year is limited to the fees paid or payable by the customer to the Operator under the agreement in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12.2 Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, or loss or corruption of data (except for the Operator's obligation to restore from its last available backup).
12.3 The limits do not apply to: death or personal injury caused by negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; wilful misconduct or gross negligence; the customer's payment obligations; a party's breach of confidentiality; a party's indemnity for infringement caused by its own content; or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
12.4 Service credits under the SLA are the customer's sole and exclusive remedy for service availability shortfalls.
13. Governing law and forum
This agreement is governed by Spanish law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts of the city of Barcelona have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to either party seeking interim relief in any competent court.
Platform-specific terms
Platform role: intermediary, not seller
1. The Operator operates a platform that enables users to discover, contact, book, order from or contract with third-party providers. The Operator is not a party to any contract between a user and a provider unless expressly stated on the order summary.
2. The Operator does not hold, custody or escrow funds for a provider's receivable unless a signed collection mandate exists and the order summary identifies the Operator as payment collector.
3. Providers are independent businesses or professionals. They are not employees, agents or partners of the Operator, and the Operator does not supervise their work, licensing or compliance except as expressly described in the provider verification section.
4. Nothing in this clause limits the Operator's own obligations in relation to its platform service, its own subscriptions or its own data processing.
